My son and I are big fans of the Marx Brothers and have seen all of their movies several times (although we fast forward through the painful musical numbers). We watched Horse Feathers the other night and I noticed something very clever. Part of the "plot" involved two colleges: Huxley and Darwin. Now everyone knows who Charles Darwin is (along with Stephen J. Gould he is one of my few heroes). But Thomas Huxley is less well known. Darwin was brilliant but very shy so Huxely took the job of travelling around Europe defending Darwin's Theories from his detractors. He became known as "Darwin's Bulldog".
This polar bear is about to get a rude awakening. Of course, one of these two is on the wrong pole.
