Eep!

I know I'm not an urchin, but that's it; I'm not eating commercial lettuce any more.

I blogged, recently, ( http://blogs.delphiforums.com/n/blogs/blog.aspx?nav=main&entry=36&webtag=mkdashpk )about dead sand dollars, due to pollution. Are they as sensitive as sea urchins?

Mark H

Sand dollars are just as sensitive to pesticides but they don't feed on algae. They are deposit feeders so are affected by pollutants in the sand rather than the plants.

"Sand dollars are just as sensitive to pesticides... "

Would pesticides turn the runoff water pink?

Nice bog you have here. I pretty much lurk the internet when I'm bored and read all I can about the organic lifestyle, but I really liked you view on things. I'll bookmark the site and subscribe to the feed!
