Brin states that The Wall Street Journal was once a reliable source. The news pages, yes; the Opinion Journal has largely been a propaganda operation for at least 20 years.
Back in 1993, for example, an Opinion Journal piece opined that there had been no documented species extinctions unequivocally caused by humans in the preceding fifty years.
