You need to visit Texas some time (but only a visit - we have an excess of knuckledraggers). We see these storm fronts all the time, especially in Fall. They're call Blue Northers because they tend to have a dark blue cast and always come from the northwest. Like the one you photographed, they never fail to amaze.
