Apparently she's doing very well in her new home, although I'm told by her new mom that the first week or so Creole was extremely depressed, and she almost brought her back. She did mainly two things: Sleep in a pile of pillows...
...and look out the window for me for hours.
Now she's completely adapted and seems to be doing great and is very well adjusted. Having a companion to live with seems to be doing her a load of good. And her new mom seems to be a pretty awesome person.
Her new buddy's name is "Johnny".
I'm so glad things turned out okay! Hope you're doing good as well, she seems happy.

I know that was a difficult and heartbreaking decision for you, but it was the right thing to do for both of you and I'm glad it has turned out the way it has.

I sure for you this is truly a "bittersweet moment", but I'm glad for Creole and you clearly did the best for her. Were we all so wise.

Happy it's all working out. Interesting to see the progression of emotions on Creole's face, from the top photo to the last. She certainly looks like she's growing to love her new home.
