"Dying OF the Light" not Dying By Light.
From the Dylan Thomas poem Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night.
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light..."

The essay is about fighting against the death of critical thought, the title was chosen as part of that message.
But either way, I appreciated the shoutout. Thanks! Jim Wright/Stonekettle Station
