I actually contacted IAMS several months ago about this "testing" issue. I'll have to find their response and send it to you. They have apparently overhauled their practices (by working with a reputable humane group - again I'll find the email to get the name to you) and no longer carry out these horrible atrocities.
I applaud PETA for being so vigilant in hunting down the abusers and holding them accountable, but I don't know what it takes to get OFF of their black list. The information on IAMS seems to be outdated.
If anyone has info that shows recent problems with IAMS, please let me know because I have family who would immediately stop giving it to their animals!

Found the email. IAMS has been partnering with the ASPCA to remedy some of its issues.
There is a website devoted to its progress: www.iamstruth.com

I was directed to this website via an extensive email response from an ASPCA representative. I will be happy to share the full email if you would like to see it.

Address isn't showing up for me. I sent the email to the Biomes contact email address. Let me know if you don't receive it.
